Industrial Copera Agenda: Club Nights and Gigs, Autumn-Winter 2026-27

· Updated:

Industrial Copera is a concert hall and electronic music club in La Zubia, just outside Granada, Spain, with room for 1,000 people: gigs in the evening, long techno and hard-sound sessions late at night. It has been running since 1992, and La Voz del Sur notes that Richie Hawtin, Laurent Garnier and Carl Cox played here before they were well known in Spain.

Where the Copera comes from

The story, as La Voz del Sur told it in 2021, starts with Rosa and Jesús, who had run a club called Clandestino in L'Hospitalet de Llobregat. In 1992 they opened in a warehouse on an industrial estate in Armilla. Planning problems ended that chapter: the last night in Armilla was 15 June 2013, and in 2014 they announced the new site in La Zubia, where it still is. Their son Junior now runs it and is also one of the resident DJs. Plenty of people still call it La Copera, its old name. The venue's own Instagram sums it up as working for culture in Granada “since 1992”.

What kind of programme it runs

The Copera lives two lives. Early in the evening it is a concert hall for national and international tours across pop, rock, indie and urban music. Late at night it becomes a club, and that is where its reputation comes from. La Voz del Sur lists techno, electro, house, acid, breakbeat and dub among its sounds. Most club nights belong to recurring cycles, so once you know the names you know what kind of night it will be:

  • Vortex: the house techno cycle, with bigger special editions such as Vortex FSTVL and Vortex XXL. At the September 2026 edition, entry was free with an invitation until 2am.
  • Take Over: harder nights, billed with subtitles like Hardhell or Brutal.
  • Universo Makina: a whole night of makina.
  • Electronic Playground and one-off all-night-long sets by well-known techno DJs.
  • Terror Bass: the bass night, which in 2026 falls on Halloween. Fast-track passes for a bass session were listed at €12 plus fees in October 2026.

El JardĂn, the outdoor space

Next to the hall there is El Jardín de Industrial Copera, an open-air space that opened on 20 May 2021. It was designed by the architect Tomás García Píriz, and La Voz del Sur called it an oasis in the middle of an industrial estate.

Age, ID and tickets

Club sessions are strictly 18+: the venue states that tickets are in your name and that ID is essential, so bring a passport or national ID card that matches the ticket. Concerts are more flexible. Under its published rules, 16 and 17-year-olds can go alone with their own ticket and a form signed by a parent or legal guardian; under-16s need a parent or guardian with them for the whole show, or an adult named in a guardianship authorisation. Tickets are sold on the venue's own website and on Kingocio. We don't sell Copera tickets, but if you are going as a group and want help planning the night, message us on WhatsApp.

Getting to La Zubia

The Copera is on the El Laurel industrial estate, next to the Alshur shopping centre, in La Zubia (18140). It is in the metropolitan area, not the city centre, so you need a car, a taxi or whatever transport a specific party announces. Our venue page has the details on getting there and back.

What to expect

Think of it as a proper club night with a long run-up, not a stop on a bar crawl. Come with ID, the ticket in your own name and your ride home sorted before you leave, because you are on an industrial estate outside the city. If techno is what you are after, our techno guide compares the Copera with the rest of Granada.
