Après Ski Monachil is the afternoon party on the slope-side terrace of the Hotel GHM Monachil, in Pradollano, at the Sierra Nevada ski resort (municipality of Monachil). Its tardeo starts at 15:00 in the ski season, just before the slopes close. Estiber's après-ski guide (February 2026) calls GHM Monachil the epicentre of the most authentic tardeo in Sierra Nevada, famous for sunshine and champagne. It closed the 2025/26 season on 9 April 2026 and its Instagram says "temporarily closed"; the 2026/27 ski season is expected to open on 6 December 2026.

How to Get to Après Ski Monachil
Après Ski Monachil is on the terrace of the Hotel GHM Monachil, right by the slopes in Pradollano (Sierra Nevada). Most people ski down to it at the end of the day.
Dress Code & Entry Requirements
No dress code: it's an afternoon terrace on the slopes, so ski gear and sunglasses are the norm. Bring ID.
Tardeo on the slopes
Après Ski Monachil is the afternoon party on the terrace of the Hotel GHM Monachil, right by the slopes in Pradollano. Its Instagram, with more than 10,000 followers, presents it as après-ski from 15:00, and Estiber's February 2026 guide calls GHM Monachil the epicentre of the most authentic tardeo in Sierra Nevada, famous for an atmosphere where the sun and champagne take centre stage, the place to be seen just before the slopes close for the day. In Estiber's après-ski route it's the first stop of the afternoon, before Shaka, Edelweiss and La Jaima, with the night continuing later at the clubs in the village. If you ski, you can arrive straight from the slopes. Expect sunshine, a terrace crowd and a lively end to the ski day.
Season 2026/27 and groups
Après Ski Monachil runs only during the ski season. It held its closing on 9 April 2026, and its Instagram bio currently reads "temporarily closed". The resort's 2026/27 season is expected to open on 6 December 2026, according to ABC, and that's when to expect the terrace to come back. The venue sells its own tickets through a ticketing app; it hasn't published table prices or capacity for the new season, so we won't give figures. Getting there and what comes next
The terrace belongs to the Hotel GHM Monachil, a slope-side hotel in Pradollano, the village at the Sierra Nevada ski resort in the municipality of Monachil. Most people get there on skis at the end of the day. After the tardeo, the night carries on in the village at Sohmo, Discoteca Mango or La Chimenea. If you've come up from Granada for the day, plan the trip down early: Estiber notes that the Parador chairlift runs until 17:30 and the local microbus until a little after midnight. Never drive after drinking. Bring ID, sunglasses and sun cream for the terrace. If you're staying in Pradollano, the rest of the evening is within walking distance, so you can leave the car parked.
