Enjoy Sala El Tren

Sala El Tren is a concert hall and underground electronic club at Carretera de Málaga 136, in Granada's Chana district, open since 2002. Its Instagram sums it up as "23 years fighting for live music and the most underground electronic music", with gigs during the week and techno sessions at weekends. In October 2026 its agenda included Pressure Lab (23 October), Sound System Family (24 October) and a Tiki Tiki Hot Halloween on 31 October at €15 plus €1.50 in fees. Concerts are usually 16+, and the parties from midnight are 18+. The venue sells its own tickets through Janto.

VIP Tables at Sala El Tren
Sala El Tren sells its tickets through its own box office and doesn't publish tables. If you're coming as a group, message us on WhatsApp and we'll help you plan the night.
How to Get to Sala El Tren
Sala El Tren is at Carretera de Málaga 136, nave 7, 18015 Granada, in the Chana area west of the centre. Some ticket sites place it in Armilla, but the venue says it's in Granada city. Most people go by taxi or car.
Dress Code & Entry Requirements
El Tren doesn't publish a dress code. Concerts are generally 16+ and the parties from midnight 18+ (according to Taquilla), so bring ID.
Gigs and underground techno since 2002
Sala El Tren opened in 2002 and has stayed loyal to two things: live music and underground electronic music. Its founders started around 1998 with a cooperative that sold and rented sound and lighting gear, and the venue describes itself as much more than a concert hall, a cultural meeting point that also has 12 rehearsal rooms. In practice, you'll find bands on stage during the week and techno sessions at weekends. In October 2026 the agenda mixed both: Glorysixvain and the Pressure Lab session on 23 October, Steve 'N' Seagulls and Sound System Family on 24 October, Tankard on 28 October, a Tiki Tiki Hot Halloween party on 31 October and Toundra on 18 December. It's a venue for people who care about the line-up more than the decor.
Tickets, age and groups
El Tren sells its tickets through its own Janto box office, event by event, so we don't sell them here. As a price reference, the Tiki Tiki Hot Halloween party on 31 October 2026 cost €15 plus €1.50 in fees. Age depends on the event: according to Taquilla, concerts are usually 16+ and parties starting at midnight are 18+, so check before you buy and bring ID either way. Where we can help is with groups: if you're coming with a big crowd of friends, for a birthday or from out of town, message us on WhatsApp with the date and how many you are, and we'll help you plan the night, including what to do before and after the session.
Getting there
Sala El Tren is at Carretera de Málaga 136, nave 7, 18015 Granada, in the Chana area on the western side of the city. Ticket sites sometimes place it in Armilla, but the venue itself says it's in Granada city, and the address above is the one it gives. Being on a main road rather than in the old town, it's not a walk from the centre: most people go by taxi or car, and the venue says it's easy to reach directly from the surrounding roads. If you share a taxi, agree on the return in advance, since sessions finish late and everyone leaves at the same time. For a group plan, tell us on WhatsApp where you're coming from and we'll help.
