Inside Mae West Granada: Rooms, Music, Dress Code and Age

· Updated:

Mae West is the biggest club in Granada, Spain: a multi-room venue in the Neptuno shopping centre on Calle Arabial, with three rooms, a terrace and more than 2,500 m² over two floors, according to salir.com. It opens almost every night of the week, and in October 2026 it celebrates its anniversary on Friday the 23rd.

Three rooms and a terrace

The club's own website lists four spaces: Sala Mae West, El Bribón, Molly and La Terraza de Granada. Salir.com describes them as three rooms with different themes, decor and music, plus an Oriental-style terrace with a calmer feel than the dancefloors. That layout is what makes Mae West practical for big groups: if half of you want reggaeton and the other half want something else, you can split up without leaving the building. Ticket sites put the capacity at more than 2,000 people.

Around the dancefloors there are 28 VIP booths, built like theatre boxes, according to VIPLIST and salir.com. The website's booth request form asks whether you're a mixed group, only guys or only girls, and links to a page of rules for the VIP room. Booking a booth is a request, not a confirmation, until the club replies.

The music

Discoruta sums up the sound as reggaeton, commercial and electronic. Salir.com adds dance, pop and 80s and 90s hits, and mentions stand-up comedy and concerts on some dates. Since each room has its own style, the trick is to walk around before settling on one. Don't expect underground techno here: for that, Granada has Industrial Copera or Efecto Club.

Which night to go

Each night has its own name. The week of 19 to 26 October 2026 on the club's website looked like this: Pretty Monday on Monday, Maertes on Tuesday, Ladies Night on Wednesday, Contoneo on Thursday, then Friday, Saturday and Sunday sessions. Since October, Saturdays also start in the afternoon at 16:00 with 'Sentido Tarde', a tardeo before the night. Radiokable describes the crowd as lots of students and Erasmus, also on weeknights, which matches the student nights spread across Monday to Thursday.

VIPLIST gives opening hours of 23:00 to 06:00 from Monday to Thursday and 23:00 to 07:00 on Fridays and Saturdays. Treat them as a guide, because special nights move them.

Dress code and the door

Mae West doesn't publish a dress code on its website. What student guides say is that the doorman does look at clothes: radiokable's advice is to leave white trainers at home. Go smart-casual, avoid sportswear and you'll be fine. The same guide warns that entry and drink prices are on the high side compared with other student clubs.

Age

The usual minimum age is 18, as listed by Discoruta; bring your ID or passport. New Year's Eve is different: granadadirect says Mae West asked for a minimum age of 23 that night, with entry at €25 to €30 including two drinks. That page doesn't make clear which year the figure is from, so check before you buy. For Fin de Año 2026, tickets were listed from €25 and high tables from €150 in October 2026.

How much a night costs

Prices change with the night. On 20 October 2026, event listings started from €9, and Baila La Bamba on 5 November was listed from €11. The Halloween party on Saturday 31 October was already sold out. For a booth, ask us: prices depend on the night and the size of the group.

Where it is and what's nearby

Mae West is in the Neptuno shopping centre, Calle Arabial s/n, in the Neptuno and Ronda area. It's the city's second nightlife hub after the centre: 365 Music Club is on Calle Neptuno and UNY Club further up Calle Arabial, so it's easy to start in one and end in another. MoonBack, the techno club in the same shopping centre, closed in 2026. Salir.com highlights easy access and parking, which helps if someone in the group drives.
