Mango Club in Pradollano: Sierra Nevada After Dark

· Updated:

Discoteca Mango is a nightclub in the middle of Pradollano, the Sierra Nevada ski village above Granada, Spain, playing electronic music mixed with commercial hits. Sierra Nevada Insiders lists it open every day from 6:30pm to 3:30am in season, and Salir said in January 2026 that entry was free. It is seasonal: it reopens with the 2026-27 ski season, expected from 6 December 2026.

Where it is

Mango is at Calle Virgen de las Nieves 8, next to the Hotel Kenia, which is why some people search for it as “Kenia”. Salir describes it as right in the centre of the resort, and its décor as a mountain house with dark wooden beams and ceilings. Pradollano belongs to the municipality of Monachil.

Music and crowd

Salir sums up the music as electronic plus the best commercial hits, with a young crowd and a dance floor that is always busy. Sierra Nevada Insiders goes further and calls it the night-time headquarters of Gen Z and the university students who come up to the mountain. Estiber adds that it holds hundreds of people and is where many end up when other places close. In short: this is the big, loud, young end of the Pradollano night, not a cocktail bar.

Entry and hours

  • Entry: free, according to Salir (January 2026) and Estiber. That can change for special nights, so check its Instagram.
  • Hours: every day from 6:30pm to 3:30am in season, according to Sierra Nevada Insiders.
  • Season: closed now; reopens with the 2026-27 season (resort opening expected on 6 December 2026, ABC, 19 October 2026).

Before Mango: après-ski

Since Mango opens at 6:30pm, it connects straight from the afternoon terraces. Estiber describes the usual route: tardeo on the Plaza de Pradollano from about 2pm to 9pm, then indoors from 10pm. Estiber suggests Edelweiss for a first drink with views, and the same guide says Mango is where many people end up. Our après-ski guide has the full route.

Getting up from Granada and back

Pradollano is about 31 km from Granada, 35 to 40 minutes by car on a mountain road (Granada Direct). The season bus run by Autocares Tocina leaves from Granada bus station, at €5 one way or €9 return, but the last bus down leaves Pradollano at 6:30pm, just as Mango opens. For a night out you need a room up there, a car with a driver who isn't drinking, or a taxi. In the resort itself, Estiber says the local minibus runs until after midnight and recommends taxis late at night.

Dinner and a first drink nearby

Before Mango, Estiber suggests tapas at El Cartujano or La Bodega in Pradollano. For a drink with history, Salir points to Pub Jaleo, which opened in the 1970s, works as a café most of the day and turns into a disco-pub from 10pm, with DJs playing pop, commercial house or older hits. According to Salir it is a favourite of skiers and snowboarders, and it makes a softer start before the Mango dance floor.
