Sierra Nevada Après-Ski: Where the Party Is in Pradollano (2026-27 Season)

Après-ski in Sierra Nevada, Spain, happens in Pradollano, the resort village above Granada: from mid-afternoon on terraces like Après Ski Monachil (from 15:00) and Edelweiss, and at night in Sohmo, La Chimenea House Club and Discoteca Mango. All of it depends on the ski season, and the 2026-27 season is scheduled to open on 6 December 2026, according to ABC. Until then, every venue on this page is closed.
Pradollano belongs to the municipality of Monachil and is small enough to do on foot in ski boots. The usual day is simple: ski until the lifts close, drinks and music on a terrace in the late afternoon, dinner, and then a club if you still have legs. Here's who does what, with the hours each venue published in its last season.
Season dates for 2026-27
ABC reported on 19 October 2026 that the Sierra Nevada season is scheduled to open on 6 December 2026. As a reference, the 2025-26 season opened on Saturday 29 November 2025, and the après-ski venues closed at the end of April 2026: Après Ski Monachil held its closing on 9 April, Edelweiss closed on 26 April and Sohmo said goodbye to the season on 29 April. Opening dates depend on snow, so we'll update this page when the resort confirms.

Afternoon: the terraces at the foot of the slopes
According to Estiber's après-ski guide (February 2026), the afternoon party runs from about 14:00 to 21:00, starting around Pradollano's main square, with a route that takes in Shaka, Edelweiss and La Jaima. Après Ski Monachil, on the terrace of the Hotel GHM Monachil, is the big tardeo of the resort and opens from 15:00; last season it closed with a party on 9 April. Edelweiss calls itself the highest concert venue in Spain, in the Edificio Dornajo on Plaza de Andalucía, with DJs and live bands.
Night: Sohmo, La Chimenea and Mango
Sohmo, under the Edificio Bulgaria on Calle Sol y Nieve, is the electronic club of the resort. Its Instagram says it opens every day in season, from 22:00 to 03:00 Monday to Thursday and until 04:00 on Fridays and Saturdays. La Chimenea House Club, on Calle Virgen de las Nieves, is the late one: Thursday to Monday from 20:00 to 07:00. And Discoteca Mango, on the same street at number 8, next to the Hotel Kenia, opens from 18:30 to 03:30 according to Sierra Nevada Insiders. In January 2026, salir.com described it as free entry, with electronic and commercial music and a university and Gen Z crowd.
Guides from 2026 also mention other bars in the village, such as Hipódromo and Pub Chicle in the Edificio Bulgaria, Tatamka in the Edificio Primavera, Pub Jaleo and El Copo. We haven't been able to confirm their plans for 2026-27, so we don't list them as open.
Which one for which plan
- Straight off the slopes, in daylight: Après Ski Monachil's terrace, from 15:00.
- Live music and DJs after skiing: Edelweiss, in Plaza de Andalucía.
- Free entry and a younger crowd: Discoteca Mango, from 18:30 (as described by salir.com in January 2026).
- Electronic music at night: Sohmo, until 03:00 or 04:00.
- The very last one: La Chimenea House Club, until 07:00 from Thursday to Monday.
Before you go up: who has confirmed
As of 20 October 2026 the Pradollano venues are in their off-season. Après Ski Monachil's Instagram says it is temporarily closed, Sohmo has no dates published yet, and the last posts from Mango, La Chimenea and Edelweiss are from March and April 2026. That's normal for seasonal venues, but it means nobody has confirmed hours for 2026-27 yet. The times on this page are the ones they published last season; we'll replace them as each venue announces its reopening.
Special dates: New Year's Eve and closing parties
If the season opens on 6 December, Christmas and New Year's Eve fall in full season. None of the Pradollano venues had announced a New Year's Eve party as of 20 October 2026; we'll add them here and in our New Year's Eve guide when they do. The other big moment is the end of the season in April, when the venues hold their closing parties, as Après Ski Monachil did on 9 April 2026.
How the village is laid out
The whole night fits in a few streets. Sohmo is under the Edificio Bulgaria on Calle Sol y Nieve, the same building that guides place Hipódromo and Pub Chicle in. Mango and La Chimenea are both on Calle Virgen de las Nieves, and Edelweiss is in the Edificio Dornajo on Plaza de Andalucía. In practice you can go from the afternoon terrace to the last club without a car.
Getting back to Granada
Pradollano is up a mountain road, so the night ends where you sleep. If you're staying in the village, everything is walkable. If you're going back to Granada the same night, arrange the transport before you go up, don't drive after drinking and check the resort's bus timetable and road conditions on the day, because snow changes everything.

Is there après-ski in Sierra Nevada?
