Student Nightlife in Granada: Where Uni Students Go Out and When

In Granada, Spain, student night is Thursday: pre-drinks in the pubs of Calle Pedro Antonio de Alarcón and Calle Sócrates, then Granada 10's Universitario night, the faculty specials at 365 Music Club or the barrel parties at Taböa. With an advance ticket and a drink at €8 to €10 in October 2026, and free entry at Vogues before 3:00, going out doesn't have to be expensive.
The University of Granada has more than 54,000 students, so the city's night is built around the academic year: it starts in September, is at its busiest in autumn, gets quieter in exam season and slows right down in summer. Here's where students go, on which night, and the dates of the 2026-27 year.
Pedro Antonio de Alarcón and Sócrates: where the night starts
Erasmus Touch calls Pedro Antonio the student street par excellence, and you'll see why on any Thursday from 23:00. It's a street of pubs, not clubs: directory listings put Amsterdam Café Pub, La Chica de Ayer, Perro Andaluz, La Rocka, Amy, Zaguán and Babel on it, with Lscandalo round the corner on Calle Sócrates. Babel, with table football and pool, is the classic for a first drink. After one, people head down to the centre or take a taxi to Neptuno.

The clubs with the most students
Granada 10, in the old cinema on Calle Cárcel Baja, is the most student-oriented club in town: Thursday is its Universitario night, Tuesday the Erasmus night, and its Halloween Universitario is on 29 October 2026. It asks for smart dress on Thursdays and Fridays. 365 Music Club, on Calle Neptuno, programmes reggaeton and urban music with faculty nights and its own Prehalloween Universitario; an advance ticket with one drink was €8 and with two, €12. Taböa, in Plaza de Gracia, is where faculties hold their barrel parties (the Science faculty and the Musicology choir have both done it); its door turns away sportswear, flip-flops and trainers.
Also on the student circuit: UNY Club, at Arabial 62, open Thursdays and Fridays from 23:45 with tickets from €10 with a drink; Mae West, which Radiokable describes as full of students on weeknights; and Vogues, on Calle Duquesa, for those who'd rather have indie and techno than reggaeton, free before 3:00.
Faculty parties
Every faculty has its own party, and they don't share a calendar. The biggest of the autumn is Medicine's San Lucas, which in 2026 took place on 16 October at Complejo Embrujo in Las Gabias, starting at 17:00. Smaller faculties book a club for a night: Taböa has hosted the Science faculty's Barrilazo and a Musicology choir barrel, and 365 Music Club does Especial Facultades nights. Halloween is the other big student week: in 2026, 365 Music Club holds a Prehalloween Universitario on 24 October, and Granada 10 and Taböa both have student Halloween nights on Thursday 29. Follow your faculty's student association and the clubs' Instagram accounts, because these are often announced only a week or two before.
Going out on a student budget
- Eat on free tapas: in Granada almost every drink comes with one.
- Get on the guest list: Granada 10's was free until 1:30 on Fridays in October 2026.
- Arrive before 3:00 at Vogues: entry was free until then.
- Compare tickets with drinks included: €8 at 365 Music Club and Granada 10 on Tuesdays, €10 at Taböa and UNY Club.
- Share a table if you're a big group: Taböa had booths from €80 and 365 from €120 in October 2026.
Dress code and getting home
Student nights are casual but not anything goes. Granada 10 asks for smart dress on Thursdays and Fridays, Taböa turns away sportswear, flip-flops and trainers, and Radiokable advises against white trainers at Mae West. Always carry your ID. Getting home is easy from the centre: Granada 10, Taböa and Vogues are walking distance from Pedro Antonio, the Realejo and most student flats. From Neptuno (Mae West, 365, UNY Club) people usually share a taxi, and for Complejo Embrujo, where the big faculty parties happen, some promoters have offered buses.
Under 18?
Night-time club sessions in Granada are 18+, and Industrial Copera's club nights require ID and named tickets. There are a few exceptions for younger students: UNY Club held an afternoon party for 14 to 17-year-olds on 30 October 2026, the Halloween party at Complejo Embrujo on 23 October was 16+, and Industrial Copera lets 16 and 17-year-olds into concerts with a parental permission form.
