Vogues (the Old Sala Vogue): Indie Tardeo, Late Nights and a New Techno Room

Vogues, the club everyone in Granada still calls Sala Vogue, is the indie club of the city centre, at Calle Duquesa 37. Room 1 plays indie, pop and commercial; Room 2, opened on 19 September 2026, is for techno. It opens Thursday to Saturday from midnight, and on some Saturdays it hosts an indie tardeo from 17:30.

Sala Vogue or Vogues?

Same place. Directories list both 'Sala Vogue' and 'Discoteca Vogues', with slightly different numbers on Calle Duquesa, and the club's own Instagram is @discotecavogues. Tardeo Granada, which runs the afternoon sessions, calls it 'the legendary Sala Vogue' at Calle Duquesa 37. Some tourist guides place it in the Realejo; it's actually on Duquesa, in the city centre.

Two rooms: indie in one, techno in the other

Room 1 is the one with the reputation: indie, rock and pop, the songs you sing with your arms in the air, mixed with commercial hits as the night goes on. Room 2 is new this season. It opened on 19 September 2026 with VIKXE, HOST and Juanma Olalla behind the decks and is dedicated to techno. Salir.com already described one floor for electronic music and another for indie and rock back in 2024; what's changed is that the techno room now has its own name and line-ups.

The indie tardeo

On some Saturdays, Vogues opens in the afternoon for Tardeo Granada's indie session, from 17:30 to 23:00. It's not every week: the announced dates for autumn 2026 are 17 October, 31 October, 14 November and 28 November. Tardeo Granada returned to Vogues on 26 September after closing its previous season on 25 April, so it follows the university year. It's a good option if you want to dance without staying up until 7am, and on 31 October it doubles as a Halloween afternoon.

The night: when to go and what it costs

At night, Vogues opens on Thursday from midnight to 06:00 and on Friday and Saturday from midnight to 07:00, plus the eve of public holidays. The best thing about it is the price: in October 2026, entry was free before 3am; after that it was €10 with one drink or two beers, or €7 for a general ticket with no time limit. Entry is 18+ and the listings say 'casual', which fits the indie crowd: nobody's checking your shoes here.

Who goes

Vogues is where people who don't want reggaeton end up. Room 1 pulls an indie and alternative crowd, and Room 2 adds the techno heads who want something closer to home than La Zubia. If you like the idea, Planta Baja and Efecto Club are the other two stops on Granada's alternative circuit.

A night at Vogues, hour by hour

• Before midnight: drinks in the centre; Vogues opens at 00:00 from Thursday to Saturday.
• Midnight to 3am: free entry, so this is the time to arrive if you're on a budget.
• From 3am: €10 with one drink or two beers, or €7 for a general ticket.
• Until 6am on Thursdays and 7am on Fridays and Saturdays: Room 1 for indie singalongs, Room 2 for techno.

Halloween at Vogues

Saturday 31 October 2026 is one of the tardeo dates, so Vogues has an indie Halloween afternoon from 17:30 to 23:00 before the usual night session from midnight. If you want a Halloween that isn't reggaeton or a big festival out of town, it's a centre option with indie on the menu. Check the Instagram account for the night's line-up closer to the date.
